I’m out of words today. I’m mostly filled with sadness. The Voting Rights Act was so aspirational and had so much potential it hadn’t yet reached. In 13 years, bipartisan consensus, democratic aspirations, and a hope of multiracial democracy all destroyed by the Roberts’ court.
