My favorite bizarre job app experience: I had an exploding offer from one school, and I asked another school for a status update. They accidentally responded with an email thread of the faculty discussing whether to lie to me about the search status (they did decide to tell the truth).

I got mine as a kid when I still had baby teeth. Had one that couldn't fall out bc, obviously, it was held in place by a bracket. Cracked in half right above the bracket (so still held in!) from the pressure of the adult tooth behind it. Not a pleasant experience.
