Currently reprinting for the 2ND time due to errors 😑, thankfully the manu is doing them for free. I'm HOPING to get them before the month is out but with these damn tariffs...sigh. I'll eat the cost but once they're done, I'll send them out with a so many extras. Thank you!

I'm no longer with Polygon. If you're hiring, please consider the many talented writers and editors now on the market. Every one of them deserves a spot on your staff. I won't be talking more about the sale because I wasn't involved. Going to hang out with my kid. Taking wins where I can.

Say it after me: Chat GPT is not a search engine. It does not scan the web for information, it just generates statistically likely sentences. You cannot use it a search engine, or as a substitute for searching. Now. Please never use an LLM for information searches ever again.

I mean I couldn't hear them but most of the time it's dumb shit like 'Klance is Kannon King' or 'Pedo' lol, some brave ones have waited to try to debate me and it doesn't last long bc I smile when I'm angry (pre covid19) and that terrifies folks that can't call Door Dash customer support apparently

TLDR many Fantis are miserable and that misery spreads out on what they consume in fandom works. They don't want to like the 'big/canon' ship, they feel that they have no choice bc all their friends like it and their friends said the other ship is 'bad' yet have 30 AO3 devoted to said 'bad' ship.

2252

Jenos @jenosonbsky.bsky.social · 28/04/2025

And that's how it is for ALOT of Fantis, they will actively and performatively dislike the 'bad' ship in front of their friends but also continue to consume the 'bad' ship until they begin to like it or have always liked the 'bad' ship but were afraid to support it due to harassment.

Without fail the group of KLs would stand, mock and then leave when they didn't get the response but usually after a few hours the linger!KL would return to my table and buy some KL merch and then ONE SK item, either a print, charm, sticker, something small they could hide from their friends.

1230

Jenos @jenosonbsky.bsky.social · 28/04/2025

When I was dick deep in VLD, I openly shipped KL (Klance) and SK (Sheith) bc idc, several KLs would come to my table and would attempt to start shit but it never worked bc my table is usually INSANELY busy so I can never hear their nonsense but I would catch one KL that always lingered.

So as someone who's been doing cons in this BS climate of Discourse, I've had SEVERAL run ins with Antis in meat space and let me tell you...they're all stupid and tragic in equal measure and most of the time, it's kids or young adults who don't know better or scared.

BL Debut on Tapas April 30th: The Raven's Bride S1 The Raven’s Bride is a Dark Romance Fantasy/MM/NA novel set in a world of magic and myth filled with dark desires. The young scribe Ewen opened a book and now a cursed Fae king wants his heart, body and soul. #BL #DarkFantasy #pitch #yaoi

The young scribe Ewen in the snare of the Raven King- Drawn by me

Ewen opened a book and now a cursed fae king wants his heart, body and soul.

The Kingdom of Lir is dying. On the surface it shines with splendor but the rot spreads underneath as the dreamless King Cronhe can only find solace in conquering and bloodshed, sacrificing young knights for his neverending pride, leaving the kingdom riddled with broken families and vultures that pick on the vulnerable. Few of the bright lights in the kingdom is Ewen—a beautiful, tenderhearted young scribe raised by the jovial Praetor Ludwig who cares for him and the many young orphans of Lir. By day, Ewen buries himself in the royal libraries and at night, he dreams of distant lands beyond Lir.

Until he finds a book.

And not just any book, a large tome full to the brim with fairy tales. Stories of a banished realm and the ballad of Raven King—a powerful fae being bound by rage, ruin, and dark desire. Ewen is compelled by the ballad and wanders into the Black Woods behind Lir when he stumbles upon a handsome man asleep beside a crystal clear lake. Drawn in by the mysterious beauty, Ewen reaches out to touch him when he’s surrounded by ravens and awakens safe in his bed, shaken…marked.
Now new shadows circle the young scribe: Cray, the earnest squire whose tender feelings for Ewen could affect his judgment. Lord Rose, a wealthy and licentious noble desires nothing more than to cage him. And of course--the mysterious Raven King, whose frightening power does nothing to diminish his allure. As the ravens return to darken Lir’s skies bringing with them whispers of treachery, Ewen is caught in a dangerous web of intrigue and inhuman obsession.

Got my teensy backyard garden beds set up with pumpkins (hoping for just 2-3), gourds, watermelon, and purple tomatillos*. I’m excited to see what, if anything, comes up 🤣 *I have no recollection of buying the tomatillo seeds?? I think I picked them up by accident somehow…in the ground they go.

Two small garden plots against the back of a house. A potted tree sits in the corner of one plot. Bamboo sticks poke out of the ground to mark where seeds have been planted.
