Redoing my website, feeling massive respect for professional website builders. Bloody nightmare. Still, having fun finding public domain images like these delightful (appropriately dressed!) weirdos from the "Occupations for Women" trading cards from Goodwin & Company 1887. The Met Collection.

I'm sure I'm behind the curve here, but if you formally object to Meta using your public posts for #AI, they tell you they won't. Not sure if they will, but I feel it's worth the time, even for my piddling amount of data. It is, after all, mine.🤷‍♀️
Letter from Meta re AI: Hi Jenny. We will honour your objection for your public information, such as public posts and comments, and for your messages with AIs. This means that we won't use your public information from FB or Instagram or your messages with AIs for future development and improvement of generative AI models for AI at Meta.

Not my usual fare, but it was on a stack of books in the bathroom🤷‍♀️ I liked the unnamed hero and his dry, rather cynical pragmaticism (and the mercifully short chapters). Terrific fun. A 1920s spy thriller set in London with all the shady goings-on you can imagine, plenty of tension and a great denouement. The central romance is wonderful and handles complicated issues of boundaries and consent really well IMO. I'll definitely be reading #2. #AmReading #Romancelandia
