I saw a minivan in a parking lot today. I noticed the interior of the passenger side sliding door window. It was almost completely covered in stickers. I drive a minivan. There are no (longer) stickers on the interior of any of my van’s windows. 1/2

This actually hits on a broader point that drives me crazy—people seem to think that 100% of their tax money should be going to things that directly benefit them. Sorry, but that's just not how it works. Part of the social contract is that we all pitch in for things that are good for society.
