My latest tattoo is finally ready to make its debut! The negative space piece is the most design-intensive piece @dotstolines.bsky.social and I have worked on together, and this is just part 1. I can’t wait to see her in her final form, and for now I absolutely love her just the way she is.

A year ago we hosted a butter party. In case anyone is wondering: a butter tasting party is a GREAT idea. Highly recommend getting together with several friends, grabbing some fancy butters, making some butter conveyance vehicles, and figuring out which are your favourites.

We adopted Cinder 6 days ago. The first day he spent with us he hissed at anything that moved (and some that didn't: the futon got a STERN talking to from him). Today he cat-trapped me by sleeping in my lap for over an hour. He's settling in just fine. #KvotheBastAndCinder #ThisIsCinder

I've said it for years: if you WFH, #SelfCare looks like making yourself a *nice* lunch at least a couple of days a week, plating it nicely (like you'd get at a restaurant), and eating in a nice spot (not your desk). Today my self care is a warm Brussels sprouts Caesar salad with poached egg.

Yesterday, #Kvothe the #HairlessCat was being an absolute pest, so I trapped him by putting a nice soft hoodie on him. Then I further trapped him by putting a sticker on his nose. It worked - I got a few minutes of peace, but the ensuing photo is really the crowning achievement. #KvotheAndBast

This is your friendly reminder to test your measuring tools. My pyrex and the new measuring cup contain the same volume of liquid in these photos, but only 1 is showing the correct measurement (it's the pyrex, tested by a third measuring cup).

We don't do it year-round, but I put together a basket of snacks and refreshments for our delivery folks from Thanksgiving until into the new year. The feedback on it is always just the best.
