Got a scoop here from Jen Kirby today: DOGE fired the USAID team sent to Myanmar after they were in Myanmar www.splinter.com/doge-destroy...

But once in Myanmar, that USAID team received termination notices, according to current and former USAID officials. USAID sources said at least some of the staffers were believed to have received the news of their firing after sleeping through the night outside in a field.

In the last weeks of the Biden administration, the U.S. committed $20 billion to a fund for Ukraine. $16 billion has already been disbursed, as part of a G7 plan to use frozen Russian assets to pay for the reconstruction of Ukraine.
