How did 9 developers squeeze a 2-disc, 1.2 GB PlayStation game onto a tiny 64 MB N64 cartridge? 🤯 The engineering behind Resident Evil 2 on N64 was an absolute miracle. Custom compression, exclusive lore, and a $1M budget. Full video break down below: youtu.be/eQ68M1R-1hk

Brief return to say - I was a juror on a @baftagames.bsky.social Games awards panel this year! Best New Intellectual Property to be exact. Loved every second of it. Super honoured and grateful to have been a part of something so impactful within the games industry :)

It’ll happen! I was impressed too. Felt very SNL but British which y’know is exactly what it needed to be

Excited to stream more in 2026. 2025 was a great first full year and I've learned a ton. Aiming to get into a better rhythm with YouTube uploads, upload more short hardware reviews, and to build on the success gained on Twitch. Here's the schedule for this week 😀

Ugh. I hate that stupid attitude of 'well, you look fine'. Sorry I don't have a sign on my head stating my invisible disabilities.

We raised a massive £206.69 (nice) during the stream! Far surpassing my expectations. Incredibly grateful to my community and excited for what we can all achieve in 2026 😍

Editors - Looking for a WoW Midnight beta (or beyond) person? I've been playing WoW since closed beta days in 2004 and I've written about it for SO many outlets (including Edge last year which was v cool). Reach out if you need a WoW person! :)

I don't recognise it either! Although, I think I'm a bit old school with Sonic canon so I've probably missed a lot

'Bravely Default: The Name That Never Stops gets that JRPGs can be grindy and helps us time poor folk out. Combat is essential because it’s a JRPG, right? But you can do so on your own terms.' :)

Jennifer Allen/Halycopter @jenjea.bsky.social · 01/07/2025

Sure! I didn't say it wasn't. I said it made it easier to fit into your life compared to most other JRPGs :) It has a ton of different systems to make it less like effort and easy to achieve things in a short space of time.

Jennifer Allen/Halycopter @jenjea.bsky.social · 01/07/2025

Exciting work news! I'm over at @gamesradarplus.bsky.social writing about how Bravely Default on the Switch 2 is ideal for those JRPG fans short on big chunks of time - www.gamesradar.com/games/rpg/br...

gamesradar.com

Bravely Default's remaster is secretly the Switch 2's must-play RPG, but it's still flying under the radar

Opinion | Finally, a JRPG that understands how busy we all are

For all the pathetic attempts to "legitimise" this week's Supreme Court decision, this is, at the end of the day, the outcome. It's the outcome of relentless hate and hostility aimed at trans and non-binary individuals. This is why showing support is so important. www.theguardian.com/society/2025...

"In the last week, I've had to respond to four suicide attempts or threats from young people," said Oscar Hoyle, who founded the Blossom LGBT community interest group in 2018. "The most significant one, I was on the phone for three hours to a transgender girl, 18 years old. It took three hours for police to come.” Blossom works with about 400 16 to 30-year-olds from across the LGBTQ community to support them into adulthood, and about two-thirds identify as trans or non-binary.

"Regardless of where you sit in this conversation, nobody should be in a position where they feel like life isn't worth living just because they fall within a marginalised group," Hoyle said.
