The Unusual Story Behind the Palestinian Flag
For decades, displaying the Palestinian flag was punishable by law, and could even lead to imprisonment.

Following the establishment of the Palestinian Authority, these legal constraints were lifted, but local factories continued to avoid producing flags due to difficulties with transportation and fear of retaliation.

Now, 99% of all Palestinian Flags used around the world do not come from Palestine.

However, thanks to a unique partnership between a Textile Factory and a refugee camp in Bethlehem in 2024, a new branded Palestinian flag is being proudly made within Palestine.
