A friend in Canmore told me she and her husband registered to vote by mail. When they received their ballots she had question 1 (1 page) and he had questions 2-9. The system is rigged in many ways.

Crikey, I've seen snakes in almost that exact spot - usually while out hiking so always concerned about how "timely" treatment would be. Seems like the hospitals might need to keep more antivenom on hand. Glad the little guy is doing okay.💕

My son works at a local, independent pharmacy (Toronto)and they have received zero COVID or flu shots and don't know when they will. The pharmacist has never seen a roll out so poorly managed.

I got a walk-in COVID vaccine at Loblaws in Toronto today. They were also offering flu shots…lots of appointments showing up as well.

My son trained himself to write cursive in undergrad; he recognized the benefits of handwritten class notes (better comprehension/retention).

Jessica says that Bradford “couldn’t talk to certain staff without being really belligerent, yelling or screaming at them.” It wasn’t uncommon, she adds, for staff to cry during or after these encounters. Sometimes, to some people, he would apologize, she says, but his actions did not meaningfully change in the time she worked for him.

“Brad kind of created an environment of fear where he yelled and swore a lot at staff, and would throw mini-tantrums if he didn’t feel like he was getting what he needed,” says Tim, describing some of the incidents as akin to “verbal abuse”.

A former staffer who declined to be quoted for this story described having the same experience working under the councillor—that he would lose his temper easily, yell and swear, and, they feel, fail to conduct himself as an employer should.
