NEW: Brown Brothers Media is the most successful media company you've never heard of. For years, its success was fueled by AI, fake writers, and fake reporting. When we started asking questions, BBM started mass-deleting content. Somehow, what came next was even worse. futurism.com/artificial-i...

Tickets for citifield tonight are $14 in the door, both because the team sucks but also because who wants to spend $60 to spend another $60 on food? The fun and games will still get played but cost of entry will go down, maybe we can even go back to $8 stadium beers (lol or not)

The stadiums all know how to survive blackout conditions, some teams in some leagues regularly play to half empty rooms. Chase said growing up in Minneapolis you got offered free Timberwolves tickets for buying a sandwich. Worst case they stop broadcasting locally until the stadium fills back up.

My "what do I know" projection is that the wealth divide will continue to crush smaller artists while larger artists are forced to downsize or take losses on touring (that gets exponetially more $$ to do with gas shortages). But as long as the rich keep showing up for the rich the shows will go on.

Dalton was objectively the best actor to play Bond. Connery was a stoic pretty boy when he got the role, Lazenby was a con artist, Moore was a goofball, Brosnan was a theater kid, and Craig was a action star. Dalton suffered because everyone making movies in the late 80s was blown out on good coke

Yeah except we killed the housing market by being so hungover from fucking and partying all night, all we could stomach at brunch (breakfast at noon) was toast with guac (and bottomless mimosas). Now that I think about it, the elder Gen Zs are the kids of millennials who didn't party in their 20s 🤔

Bigger issue is with religion broadly promising eternal forgiveness and life for being a righteous prick to everyone, though capitalism--which capitalists want you to confuse with American culture--certainly helps prime that pump by giving you very little to live for beyond profit. But yes, agreed.

Not saying it's any of these one way or another. I saw it on reddit, I went and looked at Google Trends myself, and like you determined "this would be notable if true." Then shared it here because I thought you would agree. But it's just a strange blip and it'd be nice to know what caused it.

Could totally be a weird glitch. Time zone seems correct. You could look at the data yourself, that name doesn't appear in the proceeding weeks, so it doesn't seem like a common thing to trend. Could be sloppy field work, could be clever false flag by the alleged, could be a whistleblower signaling.

It is a little strange that the alleged shooter was being Googled in Israel several hours before the event took place. Still not hard evidence of staging, he could have used a VPN and done that himself. But worth investigating. (I've worked for independent media outlets for 20 years, not blinking)

Due to an archaic, web 1.0-ass website, I did not confirm my order, i only "placed" it. When I followed up to their email, they tried to charge me today's market rate, which was $4.60-ish. I told you, constant war. I "gently" told them we would not be doing that and they ran the order from Monday.

My home uses heating oil, which gets delivered by a company I am at constant war with. I'm also deeply reliant on them. A month ago a gallon was $3.80. Anticipating a spike (and rejecting their price lock after our last argument), I placed a market rate order this past Monday at $4.26.
