#WeeknightWriters #FirstDraftFall A4 I haven't written a novel in a while (4 years). Looking forward to the intoxication of writing a (short) novel quickly. I used to write NaNos and have LOTS of first drafts. I let that rest a while, and now it feels fun to try a challenge like this again.

I've seen 5 of these. Battlestar Galactica, The Good Place, Ted Lasso, Community, and Gilmore Girls (season 1 only). If seen the odd episode of a few of the others. But mostly my stuff isn't on this list. I'm not special, just... stuff happens. There are a lot of choices.

#WeeknightWriters A2 Over the weekend, I was battling my manuscript bc the editor (rightly!) suggested I swap the main dialogues from one scene to the other. Works better now, but it took a long time to understand and execute the solution. Will be doing this for the rest of my novella revisions.

#WeeknightWriters A4 I'm going to be steady to the grindstone and get my short story and novella revisions done. If I miss the deadlines, I'm going to roll with it. I've already got an idea that if I can't release A Week of Art in September, I'm punting the release to November.

#WeeknightWriters A3 JOY I'll be celebrating the 5 year anniversary of my debut novel all through October. I spent the weekend working on a marketing, and it made me fall in love with it all over again. I still love that book! Relief: Got my insurance payout for the accident in August. Phew!
