So, for the curious, Rocksky only scrobbles artist, album artist, album, and title. Meanwhile, teal handles Artist (with MBID), Album (with MBID), and Title (with MBID). Even if @teal.fm doesn't launch an app, can we agree that 'fm.teal.feed.play' be the standard for Atmospheric Scrobbling?

Update: Rocksky's the same way as Last.fm. You'd think that with a service that has to verify scrobbled metadata against MB or Spotify, it'd pull the disambiguation info from those services too...

Why is it that they can easily push an update to remove most social features, but when it comes to disambig, they can't use MBIDs or ISNIs? Both exist to handle disambiguation, with ISNI being the ISO Standard method of doing so.

Okay, so, I am a fan of the Japanese jazz group DIMENSION. They're kickass. When I pull them up in on my Subsonic Server, the data is pulled from the Last.fm page, which is more a "Hey, we know there are many people out there named DIMENSION and we don't have a way of handling disambiguation."
