Last week, Trump aired an ad, paid for by the U.S. Government, that looked like a campaign ad— with taxpayer-funded budget intended for U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Trump’s ad, in its attempts to display the successes of his Administration, left out quite a few other memorable moments.

Early this morning, there were reports on Twitter that journalists returning to work at the White House were denied entry. MSNOW’s Kyle Griffin tweeted that “Some CNN staff have been unable to gain access to the White House … There was no reason provided for the refusal.”

Zoom out on the 2026 midterms and you’ll see the same pattern. The largest moneyed interests — Big Crypto, AI, AIPAC, Elon Musk, and Trump’s PACs (MEGA Inc., No Going Back PAC, and Safety and Affordability PAC)… are pouring record amounts into the campaigns of candidates who will do their bidding.

Actually, the networks literally built the infrastructure to transmit from the White House. They're the ones with the resources to do it daily. That includes a considerable amount for staff, equipment, & travel costs. We then pool footage to other outlets. It is a private service.
