Voyager Homecoming issue 2 is excellent. Except for that one panel. Why keep kicking that dead dog. Let. It. Go. Just pretend it never happened. Pretty much all of us do. Pro-writers, stop perpetuating that nonsense. No one wants it.

This is absolutely correct. As much as I love Chakotay, I really do not like Beltran at all. I’ve completely separated actor from character.

Paramount will be lucky if she works for them again. And she’s right. Prodigy was amazing and deserved a full 5-7 season run. Someone needs to properly produce it.

Star Trek Scouts and Star Trek Prodigy can and should exist in the same space. Kids of all ages should be included and represented within the Star Trek Universe. Decrying one because we don’t have the other is doing no one any good. #StarTrekProdigy #StarTrekScouts

repeat after me: you do not have to be a victim of trauma in order to explore taboo themes in fiction. You do NOT need to have been abused to enjoy taboo kinks and dark fiction. You do not need to tell antis your entire traumatic history. They don't care about you. Write and draw that freak shit.

someone should probably write a feature about the idealistic Star Trek fans that are now trapped inside the Paramount+ den of sin

JCAlways #JCisCanon @jcalways.bsky.social · 23/07/2025

And Paramount is too chicken to do that still. They need to sell Trek to someone who cares. Let @ewr.bsky.social take it back. He’d respect the legacy that his father created and give us Gene’s vision.

JCAlways #JCisCanon @jcalways.bsky.social · 23/07/2025

Sadly, I think you’re right. Paramount is trying to kill the Trek franchise as sure as I’m typing this.

Just got home from seeing Elio and I don’t know WTF all this noise is about how bad it was. It was fantastic. 🖖🏻 Also may stop basing everything off one single day’s ticket sales and grasp that not everyone is able to see a movie on opening night, FFS. 🤷🏼‍♀️

JCAlways #JCisCanon @jcalways.bsky.social · 25/06/2025

Elio is a Star Trek movie. I will keep saying this forever. GO SEE IT!!!! There’s a huge Trek easter egg (rooted in fact) that turns out is vitally important to the plot. Go. See. It!! I am imploring Trekkies to embrace this movie. Please see it. #ElioMovie

While the future removal of #StarTrekProdigy on Netflix is disconcerting, it has little to do with lack of viewership or anything nefarious. We’ve come to learn the license for S1 is up June 24, and S2 Dec 31. We hold out hope someone will pick it up. The next generation of trek fans deserve it.

This putrid human is celebrating the decimation of trans rights in the UK. She’s gloating because she helped fund it. She funded it thru money she makes off Harry Potter. She will continue to do this. It’s her “mission”. Supporting Harry Potter harms and causes death in my community. Factually.

I am also going to add Admiral Nechayev. I love her. Most people vilify her because god forbid a woman be competent at her job and put a male character in his place. She was the youngest woman at time to make Admiral and I want to know her background.

Chakotay. He’s an absolute mess of woulda, coulda, shoulda by the writers, but within that mess we have one of the most non-toxic men in Trek. He’s a gentle soul, who became a resistance fighter out of a need to right the wrongs that he felt the Federation/Starfleet did when they…1/?

Janeway and Chakotay actually get together and have a baby and we can see that a woman can have both a full career and a healthy and happy family life too. She doesn’t nor should she ever have to choose between the two. Would have been great for women in the 90’s to see.

Just a reminder that Star Trek Prodigy, that Star Trek series you haven't watched and happens to star Ella Purnell, is on Netflix right now. You should binge it, and then tell everyone what you thought of it.
