I still like writing metal, but these days listening to new stuff I most often just feel utterly tired of the genre. Maybe it'll pass, I dunno

Warren who is built like an early ufc fighter whose base was wrestling. He has tiny legs and a huge upper body

Our new funk band (still in need of a name lol) played our first show last night. I've never played a full set with a band before, and it was mostly originals so it's a totally new thing for me. It was so fun! www.youtube.com/watch?v=xuv-...

Reach out to me if you're interested in a free online guitar lesson! I've been teaching for several years (and playing for much longer) and I'm super passionate about it. I'm building a huge paid course for learners, but it comes free with online lessons! Here's a look at one page (out of 150+)

I've had a lot of older guitarists apply for my lessons since advertising in Japan, it feels a little weird to teach someone who has been playing longer than I've been alive lol So far so good, though, I've had some (hopefully) useful advice for everyone I've had a lesson with!

Next release will be nasty. Riffs are mathy, technical, very heavy. I have a lot of practice to do. There's also a more melodic track shaping up to have essentially a 3 act structure, that I'm very excited about. It tells a story and is absolutely jampacked with ideas lol

I've written a solid chunk of album 2 (EP maybe?) I wasn't expecting to say that for about another 2 years It's more of a technical death metal thing, very dark fantasy vibe. C# standard tuning It feels like I've evolved a ton since writing Cataclysmia, which started way back in 2021 or so

The Diminished Triad and it's 7th chord variants have quite a tense sound. While at first they may seem to be too dissonant to be used in a scale, in fact they are very versatile and handy chords. But...
