PSA: Replacement skates for your mouse can have a clear plastic peel on it. Yesterday I replaced the battery in my mouse which meant removing the skates to get to the screws, it was good to replace them anyways (5+ years)

Windows Terminal changes for allowing SHIFT+<enter> to insert a new line in the Claude Code prompt box\ This is essentially a keybinding that executes a custom action. You presset SHIFT+<enter> and the terminal inserts a \n character My sanity will be restored!

$Instructions for enabling Shift+Enter as a new line shortcut in Claude Code on Windows Terminal. Open settings.json located at %LOCALAPPDATA%\Packages\Microsoft.WindowsTerminal_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\settings.json. In the actions array, add an object with a command property containing action set to sendInput and input set to backslash-n, and an id property set to User.sendInput.DFCDAF06. In the keybindings array, add an object with id set to User.sendInput.DFCDAF06 and keys set to shift+enter. Save the file. No restart needed.$

@ianlandsman.com just started the 2026 predictions episode and here's a 1st party claude code plugin for a looping agent. My first go with resulted in a single iteration, but I suspect the work is just complete (haven't had time to verify).

I'm hoping someone has some tips for this: With Claude Code, I have a huge Postman JSON file that details an API. I've given to Claude as a file in the repo. I'm writing a Saloon wrapper around this API. I cannot for the life of me get Claude to just keep going until every endpoint is implemented

I surely can't be the only Laravel developer with multiple databases used by the app. One of the databases has 200+tables. The schema loading and migrations take way too long when running tests. parallel tests, 16x worse, one for each process. Any tips out there that I'm missing?
