September 8 was THE Ruby Bridges’ birthday. Ya know, the little 6 yr old girl who had to be escorted to school by federal marshalls bc wp were threatening her life just for going to “their” school. She is still alive and kicking. 72yrs old. Our history is not long ago in a place far away.

The day after 9/11, family friends, who did not know, where at the house and openly talking about how all Arabs and Muslims in the US should be rounded up into camps. I was 12 years old.
