<article data-history-node-id="430499" about="https://www.middleeasteye.net/live-blog/live-blog-update/hind-rajab-foundation-takes-24-israeli-soldiers-icc-over-killing-six" class="live-blog-update default clearfix"> <h2> <a href="https://www.middleeasteye.net/live-blog/live-blog-update/hind-rajab-foundation-takes-24-israeli-soldiers-icc-over-killing-six" rel="bookmark"> <span class="field field-title">Hind Rajab Foundation takes 24 Israeli soldiers to ICC over killing of six-year-old</span> </a> </h2> <div class="content"> <div class="field field-field-text"><p>The Hind Rijab Foundation has taken 24 Israeli soldiers and commanders to the International Criminal Court over the killing of Hind Rijab, a six-year-old Palestinian child.&nbsp;</p> <p>The foundation identified the<meta charset="UTF-8">&nbsp;Vampire Empire Company&nbsp;of the<strong>&nbsp;</strong>52nd Armoured Battalion&nbsp;operating under Israel’s&nbsp;401st Armoured Brigade as responsible for the killing of Hind, six members of her family and two Palestinian medics.&nbsp;</p> <p>The Foundation said three key senior Israeli commanders were responsible: Colonel Beni Aharon, commander of the 401st Armoured Brigade; Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Ella, commander of the 52nd Armoured Battalion; and Major Sean Glass, commander of the Vampire Empire Company.&nbsp;</p> <p>The foundation said an additional&nbsp;22 identified tank crew members&nbsp;of the same company "directly participated in or facilitated the attack".</p> <p><meta charset="UTF-8"></p> <p>"The attacks were carried out&nbsp;with full knowledge&nbsp;of the victims’ civilian and protected status, following&nbsp;prior coordination&nbsp;between the Palestinian Red Crescent and Israeli authorities," the foundation said in a statement.&nbsp;</p> <p>"The Foundation’s legal team concludes that these acts amount to&nbsp;war crimes,&nbsp;crimes against humanity, and&nbsp;genocide, under&nbsp;Articles 6, 7, and 8 of the Rome Statute," the statement added.&nbsp;</p> <p><meta charset="UTF-8"></p> </div> </div> </article>
