Franzi Schimmer captured this Grizzly bear in Brooks Falls, Alaska just floating along, tippy-tapping down the river, browsing the salmon. Prior to hibernation, up to 40% of a bear's body mass is fat, which is less dense than water (~0.9 g/cm^2), so the murder-monster is also a floaty-boaty.

I'll wrap this thread as it's moved in many directions beyond panel breaking weirdness and into general comics space/time cool-ness, but good to close with something from Fred - from the Philemon books (annoyingly still not in English - though I bought this one in Paris) - these are such a treat!
a page from Fred's Philemon - it's like a 9-panel grid page if it were ice cube trays and turned sideways to the reader so it becomes an architectural space. Philemon moves through it and leaves the cubesa page from Fred's Philemon - looking at comics pages that are curled towards us, like a sheet of cloth or paper that they are supposed to be, on them you can see a comic there, but also the characters are outside of this and interact with some of the panels and in fact fall through it and knock some of the panels out of the layout

The oldest surviving mention of tacos is in a 1905 San Antonio newspaper, describing the meal served at a conference for retailers. The etymology of 'taco' is uncertain. The word in Mexican Spanish in other contexts means "wad, plug, or ramrod" Several theories of its origin:
Two matte flat-green plastic dinosaurs with slots in their backs hold well-appointed hard-shell tacos. One of the dinos is a triceratops, the other a T rex, with an orange plastic base. They are photographed against a white background. Taken from an e-commerce site named after a South American river basin. You know the one. Orinoco.com
