I do think that city's dominance has contributed to an overall political malaise in this country where people feel powerless against wealth, and that this is just the way the world is, that everyone would compromise principles for enough money because what other options are there.

cautiously optimistic of me but I wonder what the broader political and cultural impact might be of meaningful punishments for city. of showing that actually, being obscenely wealthy doesn't mean you can do whatever you want without consequences. that it is possible to hold wealth to account.

you're not overstepping - just I don't have a microwave or room for one. +deciding what to have is part of the issue since a lot of the time I don't really want anything. so I'd be much more likely to at least TRY to have sth if it was already decided, easy + portioned out, you know?
