Enjoyed RESIDENT EVIL, which nods lovingly to the games (indestructible padlocks! the box of shells! the dog's tentacles!) but isn't remotely beholden to them, but as is often the case with game adaptations, I couldn't shake the feeling that I'd rather be playing along rather than just watching

Catarina and the Beauty of Killing Fascists at the National Theatre is very good but it does take two and a half hours (without an interval!) to reach a conclusion that I could've reached in about 10 seconds

Also I dunno why but as a child I never realised he wanted to eat the roadrunner lmao

Saw COYOTE VS. ACME earlier, which was a lot of fun but all the best bits were from the old cartoons. I could watch that idiot have his own catapult backfire on him a million times and laugh every single time.
