Daxter Flaxter theory: He’s from Blip (fictional planet from video entertainment program “Blippo+”)

Daxter Flaxter, a character from Neil Cicierega’s short film “Computer Fighters”. He’s a proficient gamer wearing a backwards baseball cap, thin visor-style shades, a red shoulder strap, a neon blue tee shirt, yellow gloves, a red belt with a lightning bolt buckle, and has a red Game Boy on his belt and an orange NES Zapper in a thigh holster opposite that. He helps Neil and friends learn how to beat their nemesis Mitch Dollarton at Computer Fighters 2000, the fictional arcade game which gives the short its name.

He’s a parody of Kid Vid from the Burger King Kid’s Klub, a program the chain offered in the 90s.
