Lakitu's Japanese name, Jugemu, is taken from a folk tale about a boy with an extremely long name. However, the name is so absurdly long that several other Lakitu-related names were also taken from different parts of it, and it still has space for more references in the future.

"Jugemu" is a Japanese folk story about a boy with an extremely long name. After giving Lakitu a name in Japanese that referenced it, this became a running gag in Mario games, resulting in various spiky or Lakitu-adjacent entities taking names from it.
Here is how the story goes:
A father goes to the local temple to ask the priest for a good name for his newborn son. The priest suggests many different names that are supposed to bring good fortune. Unable to decide, the father simply named his son every single suggestion all at once.
The boy's name is...

On the livestream today I was asked "Is there an Among Us season 2?" I have ideas. The writers have ideas. There's lots of ideas for directions to go! However, we're still in the watch and see phase. It all hinges on viewing numbers right now! Everyone on the crew would love to make more!

If I did some small paintings of characters from Among Us and Infinity Train, would you buy them? I don’t know where I’d sell them. Maybe eBay? Just let people bid on them I guess?

I actually would like it if we had more opportunities to do episodes of shows that aren’t about the “main plot”. Those are where the weird, totally off the rails, fun stuff happens! Pickups are too small now for exploration though. The most unique thing about the tv format and we’ve lost it. :(

If there's anything I've learned from killing characters in my shows, it's that every time a character dies it's because they deserve it. Characters who die are morally wrong and characters who live are morally correct. Every story follows this simple equation.

Remember artists: If someone approaches you for your art, then tells you to lower your price or else they’ll just get AI to do it, they’re lying! They already tried AI. It failed. That’s why they’re coming to you. People always want free (ai) until it sucks, then they try the premium option (you)

Birdo is my favorite Mario character. When I first saw her in Super Mario 2 as a kid she terrified me. She looked strange and was hard for me to defeat. Then when I next saw her in Wario's Woods she was like a savior angel character and I had to accept this conflict of emotions when seeing her. A+

I don't know why I keep seeing more questions about this. It's where the bean comes out? Before the granules release but after the siphon inverts itself? Please talk to your parents, I'm not your mother.
