Our justice work shouldn't strive to be perfect - perfection is an ableist myth that props up the idea that communities are monoliths & they aren't, so we will critique each other and disagree and work to understand that a focus isn't necessarily an exclusion. Community requires critique to thrive.

This is bad and will most likely lead to worse outcomes because many "specialist" positions exist to provide student & curricular support. These cuts to education, in addition to the "code of conduct," will probably result in higher dropout rates as well.

If it's not already obvious that the leader is embezzling funds for himself and his allies after that budget drop, it should be. Although this may be uncovered over time, the immediate impact is once again on those most affected by the oppressive violence perpetuated by the wealthiest.

I wish all disabled students (phd, masters, etc) get a supervisor and committee as flexible and understanding as I have. Truly. It's not until you start worrying about ableist barriers that you need people in your corner cheering you on and offering guidance that suits your access needs.
