What's up with a liberal arts school like Drew partnering with these vultures? I admit as a Drew grad, I'm particularly disgusted. Is it just SLAC existential fear? The ideology of the U. President? Big donors backing up a dump truck full of money on a cash strapped school?

I would so, so pay crazy money to see Vonnegut's ROBOT COP. A pox on Knox Burger (He's probably just acting out because his parents hobbled him with a name like that) for robbing the world of this. I wonder if Vonnegut had ROBOT COP trying to clean up "old Indianapolis"?

No not at all. Perhaps the many willful misinterpretations of them but nothing having to do with their work. Pragmatism is not about ending philosophy, but expanding it's reach and opening everything up to open, unrestricted inquiry--the very things universities are designed to do.

You wanna take a poll of the ugliest architectural example of the neoliberal university? I think the UM-Ohio rivalry is stupid, but we got ya beat. I call this the robogumby. My students starve (once a semester, I empty my wallet for a hungry student) while UM tries to turn Detroit into San Jose.

You really aren't-Reform Synagogues all over the country have members of mixed parentage, B'nai Mitzvah children of mixed parentage, perform mixed marriages, the whole Megillah. It's a tenet of the Reform movement that Judaism is a religious practice not a race. She is either ignorant or a liar.
