Using optogenetics to evoke transient CGRP release from parabrachial n. terminals in the amygdala, we find that CGRP preferentially potentiates glutamatergic inputs to female neurons. This may explain sex differences in affective pain processing #neuroscience www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1...
