关于AI,技术和社会,我还有很多要写。上面的很多想法都需要进一步的考证、研究和反思。但不管怎样,我很高兴自己终于动笔了,边写边想。这只是个开始。

I will write more about my thoughts on AI and technology. A lot of my thoughts here require further examination, research and reflection. I am glad I have finally started writing to think out loud. This is just a start.

I'm going to "at:// DWeb Camp Berlin".

at:// DWeb Camp Berlin
DWeb Camp is happening this year July 8th - 12th in Alte Holle, about an hour and a half drive outside of Berlin, Germany. Yes, there's actual camping! Are you part of the atproto community or interested in learning more, and planning to attend? Let us know you're coming by RSVP'ing, and get involved in coordinating in the community forum. DWeb Camp has lots of unconference spaces and time, we can bring many of our beloved stickers, and share what we're building. Note as well that Local-First Conf https://www.localfirstconf.com/ is right after, and after THAT we're considering a July 15th one day hack session in Berlin Community Forum coordination https://discourse.atprotocol.community/t/coordinating-around-dweb-camp-local-first-conf-and-possible-atproto-hack-day/847

The best time is now. Being back in school again and noticed a typical student mentality (maybe just my own) - anxiety about the future, constantly chasing future opportunities, prepping for next steps, or feeling that being back in school is taking a pause from real life.

I asked my partner earlier on a bike ride - why do white people have middle names? Is it because having the same first name and last name is so common so we need one more unique identifier?

Coming out of my political and social philosophy final, I am emotional. I am genuinely grateful of the knowledge I gained through the course and proud of everything I’ve written. I still can write well-structured/ argued essays 😛. And most importantly, I am coming out of my inner citadels.🦋

#china There’re dedicated fruit stores in almost all neighbourhoods in Chinese cities I’ve lived in. They often offer sampling as well as free peeling and cutting services… even at fruit vendors in traditional markets or roadside, you’re welcome to try a fruit before you buy. I’ll miss that.

In certain Chinese apps, you can @ the app’s bot and say “stop showing me this type of content, start showing xxx” when you see content you don’t like. I think that’s pretty cool!
