Bizarre things that happened in your assembly: A neighbour of one of the teachers gave us a five-minute lecture about kwashiorkor which involved him reciting a list of his favourite words (yes, ‘kwashiorkor’ was one of them). Included the unforgettable phrase, “Diarrhoea, another beautiful word.”

System Spotlight: Amiga32 (1993) Developed by Commodore, its final hardware, and marketed as "1st" 32-bit games console but was really a keyboard-less Amiga 1200 with a CD-ROM drive instead of floppy drive. Unlike the CDTV released 2yrs prior, this was specifically for games.

The #N64 has a small library compared to its peers, let alone other consoles generally but it's no slouch. Whilst browsing through the flashcart collection, I came across Ms. Pac Man: Maze Madness - which I hadn't played before. Pac Man spin-offs are often lacklustre but I'm really enjoying this. ☺️

In future releases of macOS, Mac users will no longer be able to format or eject disk images using the very long-standing Terminal command, "hdiutil." It won't affect many users directly, but it will break disk repair utility apps.

I've lived with cancer since 2023 and recently, I was warned that urgent action was required as my condition has worsened. Yesterday, I underwent a form of radiotherapy that has a high success rate. I'm feeling great but my orders are to put my feet up. Looking forward to hearing "you're cured." 🙏
