Yeah same. 90% of furs showing interest in me are just horny. It's routine and boring. I have made some long lasting friendships starting like that but, eh. Sex is way better when it's not easy.

sometimes they say what you need to hear without really knowing

a comic drawn in ink and watercolor:

a red coyote sits at a table, beer in paw, with some friends, including a blue raccoon.

the coyote is nervously thinking to itself, "How do I know if my friends really like me?"

it floats in midair as it further dissociates, "Is any of this even real?"

it is snapped out of its trance by a call, "Hey!"

the blue raccoon is smiling at it. neither says a word.

the blue raccoon's smile grows, looking somewhat sinister. the coyote stammers, "Wh-what?"

the raccoon sips its drink and says, "I looooove you~"
