Everyone hates HOAs but did you know that you can serve on the board and fix your HOA instead of just complaining about it? Most boards of most organizations everywhere are desperate for board members. Generally you just show up and you’re on. Try it! We need good people on HOA boards.

The data center thing is definitely full glonzo. Zero auto factories are “one and done” and only ever need “tool measurements and software updates.” And zero data centers have to be shut down and upgraded every few years. Reality is in fact exactly the opposite.

Sad to report the death of Denver heavyweight keyboardist Chris Fischer of Funkiphino and many other projects who apparently crashed his box truck full of gear on the way home from a gig on Friday. We have lost so many of our heavies in the past 3-4 weeks. All were friends and customers too. So sad.

I have no love for DPS leadership (and very little agreement) but they are not wrong here. If it’s a fact that a unanimous contract vote in Oakland will result in the contract being blown up by a judge because one board member was employed but the union, then DPS’s board absolutely needs new rules.

I worked the most evenly split district in the country in 2006 and we were absolutely convinced we were gonna lose right up until 7PM on Election Day. We won by 12 points. This year I'm gonna volunteer in a Trump +12 district. Looks like a tossup right now but I don't think it's gonna be a tossup.

There was a big event at the Colorado Capitol today, "March for Jesus" that shut down traffic and interrupted RTD. My husband was trapped on the 15 which drove around and around the capitol because they had Colfax blocked. A woman had to threaten to pee and puke on the floor for them to be let out.

We need to regulate these companies, yes, but we have long needed a comprehensive national privacy law. It shouldn’t be a state by state effort. Facebook was a privacy nightmare before AI. We never dealt with it because republicans and California congressional democrats are addicted to Zuck Bucks.
