Today, the person who made me a mom is 23 years old. Tomorrow will be the 9th anniversary of the seizure that led to her brain tumour diagnosis. I cannot overstate how happy I am to be celebrating this day with her.

Going to Montreal for a concert in a couple of weeks. Where should we eat? We like casual and not over priced.

I was out after dark tonight. It felt weird. I’m usually in my pjs by 8pm.

I really hope I live to see the day where the name Trump is rarely uttered.

25 years ago, Canadians would have done anything in their power to help Americans. And now we’re in a trade war and POTUS insults us on a daily basis. So sad 😞.

My son turned 18 yesterday. He told me he was trans in grade 5 but he knew since grade 2. Gender affirming care is the reason he is thriving today. It makes me sad to know that many kids don’t have access to it.

In the complaint we addressed the fact that their discrimination policy did not include sexual orientation and gender identity as required by NB human rights legislation. The camp stated that they were in the process of changing that. This is their current policy….

Six years ago, my son wanted to attend Caton’s island with his friends. I reached out and was informed that he would have to bunk with female campers. We filed a human rights complaint which we did not win due mainly to the fact we didn’t formally apply…..(see next post)

Last week I had a new pulmonary heart valve installed. I’m feeling so much better already, both physically and mentally. I had to fight for two years to get this done and to say I’m glad I trusted myself and kept pushing is an understatement. Always trust that you know your body best!

It’s not a coincidence that so many of the ultra wealthy are pedophiles and predators. Sociopathy and narcissism results in entitlement, selfishness and the inability to care about others. It all makes sense.

Today is Transgender Day of Visibility. I see my son thrive every day with gender affirming care and support. Calling on @susanholtnb.bsky.social to support the trans community by providing a gender care clinic in our province.

A young person went missing and was found deceased in Nova Scotia, and people are commenting on their pronouns…on their mother’s Facebook page. 😡 I’m so tired. Where the hell did human compassion go?

I just read something that said that social workers are janitors for capitalism and now I know why I burned out. Working within the system is beyond frustrating.

Dear Decent Men: We need you more than ever to speak out when you see misogyny - even and especially when it’s presented under the guise of ’just a joke’. When those in power belittle and insult women on a daily basis we need the good guys to call it out, every damn time.

It’s almost like being ultra wealthy and a pedophile go together. 🤔. Who would ever have thought that power and entitlement would lead to disgusting behaviour?

This week has been heavy for Canadians. Especially, those who are trans or those, like me, who love someone who is trans. What happened in Tumbler Ridge is horrible, but the shooter being trans isn’t relevant. What is relevant? Lack of mental health resources and access to guns.

2171

Jan - Anti 🍊💩 @jango627.bsky.social · 12/02/2026

Watching CBC and noticing that the residents of Tumbler Ridge being interviewed are referring to the shooter using male pronouns.

241

Jan - Anti 🍊💩 @jango627.bsky.social · 11/02/2026

Police just stated that BC shooting suspect was known to them and the residence had their guns removed and later returned. It’s the guns.

Does anyone still think that he’ll eventually do something so bad that his supporters will say ‘enough?’. He could literally kill a child in downtown Washington at high noon and they would still say ‘he’s our guy’. Fuuuuuuck!!

My soul needs soothing, the kind that a bubble bath or cup of tea won’t fix. My soul needs to see acts of kindness, not the ugliness and vitriol I see on the daily. How do we soothe our soul in a world like this?

I’m having a productive day which doesn’t happen often. A cleaner house makes me feel better. I will pay for it in pain and fatigue later but at least I’ll have a clean bedroom.

Jan - Anti 🍊💩 @jango627.bsky.social · 26/01/2026

Random question Why do dogs 💩 outside while cats go in a box inside the house? Is it a difference in their nature or just in how humans have trained them? Can you tell that I’m trying to think about anything other than politics?

Donald Trump is a reflection of everything that is wrong with the United States. He is the face of violence Of racism Of misogyny Of greed Of imperialism And most of all of narcissism and lack of empathy for our fellow humans.
