It's so so important as software developers we don't forget that we aren't working on a production line - what we do is creative work, is art, and artists are our siblings in persuit.

EVERY TIME I make a change to tidy (rustc's sourcecode linter) I think it can't be that hard and then suddenly it's 4 hours later. And of course my change just broke in CI, be stumbling on the implementation *of the lint itself*.

Built an extension to my bed that also works as a nightstand! It's inspired by a bed Ikea sells, but theirs is inconveniently sized and doesn't fit around the radiator (I designed in holes so the radiator can still do air convection).

My bed, with at the head-end an elevated wooden structure with a shelve built in so it functions as a night stand. A few centimeters above the structure, the window starts, and the bed exactly fits under the opening part of the window.

Home server 500'ed earlier on uploading images, but I took this amazing tree full of eclipses last week during the eclipse :3 Taken at about 90% totality, roughly the maximum we got here in the Netherlands!

Who knew the Paris RER had a line extending all the way to the jura running on swiss trains!

A swiss train with letters "RER jura" on it from delle (france, border) to Delémont (Switzerland). RER seems to be just the company name, or stand for regional express [something] and it's a complete coincidence. I just thought it was funny....

Took some cool night pictures. The moon is going to set soon, so it should get better but I'm pretty happy with this already :3 second picture against all odds has a shooting star in the top right even!!
