This case shows the unfair nature of overpayments enforcement. Do you work out, overpayments weekly or monthly? DWP can’t consistent. It’s woeful that Oksana wasn’t contacted earlier. And it’s why this issue needs sorting sooner rather than later. www.theguardian.com/society/2025...

Given how many people are likely to be affected, this is not very many. They are not releasing details of where the events will be held so they must be nervous about demonstrations. They don't seem confident these are popular measures.

1. It has been one year since Stolen Lives protested outside the Senedd. Detention of people with learning disabilities and autistic people is a human rights issue. It results in harm, abuse and long-term trauma.

I volunteer in a lowly capacity in the Food bank. Nearly every week I engage with a new family only to tell them they qualify as Unpaid Carers and have specific rights. They have doctors and social workers, so why is it down to some old biddy in a church hall to pass this vital information to them?

DWP benefits being cut are the thin end of the wedge. It's Labour's ideology which is terrifying.
The fascist perception of disabled people who can't work as a 'burden' seems to be shared by Labour, who are cutting DWP benefits

Ms Kendall, whipping the disabled who aren't working will not create the same chance, choices and opportunities to work. It's employers that need to do that. Your policy will merely reinforce the eugenic language there already is around disability and increase poverty.

Making it harder to qualify for #PIP. It was never ever easy, it’s always been so hard. This will also impact on those caring, as is a qualifying benefit for Carers Allowance. Therefore, more carers and disabled people going without support. www.itv.com/news/2025-03...
