Me (trying not kill another orchid): It's impossible. It won't bloom. My mom (She of the Green Thumb):
Several sprays of tiny pink blooms spill from an orchid hanging on a porch in Florida as the sun rises in the background.

“This place was never about saving anyone. It was about preying on the desperate, taking their money, their hope. And I fell for it." Still thinking about @tammykomoff.bsky.social 's story "Clearance Items at the Underground Dark Magic Night Market" in Lady Churchhill's Rosebud Wristlet. 💔🐈‍⬛

I’m excited to announce my story “The Shearing of the Beasts” will be published by @castofwonders.org. It’s a coming of age story set in a world w/ wild and domesticated unicorns, examining the things we do to and for the creatures we claim to love. Many thanks to editor Katherine Inskip & team.

Rainy weekend has me looking forward to whatever mushrooms will bloom next.

Glad my youngest prefers making elaborate models of historic battles and scenes from his favorite novels to attending expensive summer camps. This one came out really well — not just the electricity he used to simulate cannon fire but the dramatic movie soundtrack playing in the background. 😂

STRATEGIC ANALYSIS

We are executing Phase 3 (The Pitch) with [redacted] but removing the direct payment link for this specific touchpoint.

By omitting the link for now, we keep the conversation focused on the concept of the $150 production allocation and the layout approval first. This acts as an elegant soft-pitch, allowing her to confirm the administrative framework before we send the formal invoice or payment portal link. The tone remains highly professional, shifting the focus to the attached layout proof and the cooperative production framework.
