I don’t like this poster at the Science Museum. It asks “can you make a Khan” For context Khan is a superhuman produced through eugenics. I don’t think this is the correct springboard for Sci comm to use. The idea of eugenics shouldn’t be trivially dealt with or ignore the harm the idea perpetuates

Today’s Scottish word, Bing. I don’t think there is a direct English translation. It’s a large mound normally of shale, rock, slag or other waste earth. I grew up in a mining town and just realised it’s a Scottish word.
