Yeah. Sorry. I feel like I’m coming across as facetious. It’s not intentional. Just a topic I find particularly difficult to navigate. I find ppl aren’t very explicit with their requests, but if pressed, they’ll be polite rather than honest. “I wasn’t but I’m open to it” vibe seems common.

Like….normal people are weird tho. Honestly I get “I’m struggling with this thing…” all the time and I have to try and work out if they’re asking for advice or not. I honestly wish we had the “give me advice” request normalised and explicit. It would be a fkin dream.
