Yesterday’s #NytStrands puzzle had a Spangram of NINETIES TRENDS, but before I found it, I spotted NINETIES CRINGE. I wonder if that was intentional.

I have a friend who teaches at a private college where leadership were: 1. Wringing their hands about how best to insure the students weren’t using AI to cheat. 2. Instructing staff to use AI as much as possible to make their jobs more efficient. 🙄 This was a year ago, so IDK if the policy remains.

That was a good one! I got to the unmapped ped-bridge and looked for the exact spot where your photo was taken… and looked… only to eventually realize that there are TWO unmapped janky-ass ped bridges with identical fencing, over 62! In for a penny farthing, as the saying goes!

Photo one shows a blue “women’s” bike against a chaining fence with steel structure over a four lane highway.

Photo two shows the same blue bike and a near identical fence over a different part of that same highway. It is 24 minutes closer to darkness.

I may have a #MNStateFair #superpower! On five occasions, I took one glance at a friends’ photo at the fair and knew just where it was. In one of those cases, I narrowed it down by shadow-angle and showed up minutes later. I’m like one of those Geoguessr savants, but limited to a certain 322 acres.

Who needs a car when you have a cargo bike? (Admittedly, if the furniture were any bigger, I’d’ve needed… a bigger bike!) Bonus - you can drive your vehicle right onto the elevator.
