Yeah, if that was Villa they’d take the ‘the foul started outside the box so it’s a free kick’ route. That’s if the ref gave anything. We’ve seen stronger fouls against Villa players in recent weeks not even given as fouls. VAR along with PSR have the same objective.

I stand corrected. Only two loans from other PL clubs. Loans from European clubs, such as Juve in this instance are separate. Thanks for the clarification.

Delighted to see Dougie Luiz back at the Villa. Was gutted when we had to sell him. I assume now we’ll either negotiate to send Elliott back to Liverpool or just deregister him as as cannot have more than two loans as far as I am aware. Happy to be proven wrong. #avfc
