It's been a while since my last hobby update, but I've been working on a force of Spirit Cat Mechs for an upcoming Alpha Strike Tournament 🤖 It'll be my first time playing competitively, so I'm a little nervous #Battletech #Alphastrike #miniatures

Just got home from New England Mech Con! It was a two-day overnight stay aboard the USA Massachusetts where everyone was playing Battletech! I had so much fun and can't wait to go next year!! My favorite part was teaching my friend Battletech for the con and seeing him come to love the game 🤖🎉

The day before the Con, I walked my friend through his first game of Alpha Strike. He has a basement full of wargaming terrain that really elevated the experience! I played two lances of Marik Militia, while he played a star of his own clan mercs

Here I watched my friend take part in a 3v2 game of Classic. Each side fielded a combined 24k BV force.

Here's a shot of the main board from the Alpha Strike Narrative Mega Battle. It had the Free Worlds League fighting Clan Sea Fox fighting for control of a star league cache aboard the SLSS Massachusetts

It's been a full day of #Battletech for me! First I went to my FLGS and played a game of Alpha Strike, then ran a demo game of Classic for my friend over Tabletop Simulator! I'm mentally exhausted but had a lot of fun.

My 300PV Alpha Strike force. There is a Crusader, Shadow Hawk, Archer, Griffin, Orion, and a Wraith. All are painted in the Marik Militia Purple, red, and blue.

Turn two of the game. My Indirect Fire Mechs sat back, while my strikers with fast Jump Jets flanked my opponent.

The end of the game. My Crusader was destroyed at the end, but all of my opponent's Mechs besides their Archer and Catapult were destroyed. The last of their Mechs fled the field as they were being encircled. Overall, really fun (Purple Bird Strong)
