One thing that #Battletech has been lacking. Scatter Terrain. Terrain that could reasonably show up any where and mix up the table. Let’s face it not every table will have random hills every where they serve the same function. The solar panels fit the bill.

So using aerospace fighters. We’re using string to show the flight paths. We’ve been using blue dice to show the altitude of fighters and VTOLs. So thinking of getting blue string. Or two colours if both sides have fighters. #Battletech #Mechwarrior #Alphastrike #Wargaming

So the blips do actually correspond to an actual unit. We plan on swapping them when units come in line of sight (los) of an enemy. The map is mostly forest. So unless the unit is on a rode, they can only see 6” or less in light woods. I don’t have any tanks but I do have mechanized infantry

I'm of a mind that light turrets and fortifications should be more common in the #Battletech meta. The reasoning is that they're cheap an effective. Add dug in infantry and some light armour and they're good. This includes portable emplacements for a FOB. #Mechwarrior
