JESUS I just noticed how poorly I spelled Aquarium.

Not like 'try not to mix too many fonts,' but like 'I do cuts to beats, not lyrics,' and you really don't deviate one from the other. Until you do, to make a point, something to catch the viewer off-guard. I'm sure there's a term for this, I'm just a weirdo overanalyzing a Beck music video.

Honestly, it's such an interesting video thing. For the first half of the video, it's only blue. They sneak in a little background yellow, and then they break the rule with right in your face yellow. Just for a moment. Like you don't think about it, but there are rules to edits, yeah?

One of my favorite music videos that I repeatedly come back to is Colors by Beck. Besides having Allison Brie in it, the use of color is so fun, black and white but red lips, people dancing in blue body suits. And then they slowly introduce more. It’s just fun!
