Le Creuset might not be worth the price tag when it comes to roasting a chicken or pork loin. But, it makes up for all kinds of sins when it comes to baking sourdough. *Bonus baking tip- steal your mother’s dish to bake two loaves at a time.

We haven’t had enough rain for a desert super bloom, but I’m still enjoying the effort. There is something extra special about cactus blooms. Maybe because they aren’t guaranteed and they don’t last long. We desert denizens have learned to celebrate them while they last.

I try to make 2-4 meals a week for my husband to take over to his parents on his weekly visit. Lots of casseroles and soups and pot pies as it’s easy to transport & heat up. But, we needed variety! So, I grilled filet, roasted artichokes and garlic and baked potatoes. Hope it reheats okay. 🤷🏼‍♀️
