No, just one of the ones I subscribe to. It's pretty good, in depth discussions of various political science topics without getting partisan

You often get the opposite issue with cars. Cars from many decades ago are either scrap or hobbyist restorations so you get a poor family in the 70s driving a pristine vehicle that looks straight out of the showroom

Yes, although there are similarities. Recurring revenue is customers paying monthly for a subscription. With low-ish churn rates or annual minimum terms it's a predictable estimate of the portion of revenue that comes from subscriptions. Run rate is all revenue for a month x12

Where I work they have individual codes that allow the system to do things like only have managers see responses from their direct reports. It is anonymous but my ex boss told me there was a lot of pressure from upper management to identify who a particular comment was likely to be from

A large part of the hyperscalers' revenues are from unrealised gains in the value of their investments in AI labs. Not sure how much relative to totals but I think the ratio would be more relevant removing that gain from revenue

You see a lot of Reform stans defensively posting "well what about all the dodgy cash LABOUR get hmmmm?" and, like, guys, I don't know what to tell you...I can't stand the Labour Party. But thank you for admitting you think it's bad and wrong and illegal when politicians receive janky-ass donations.

It's so simple. It does exactly what you want just from a natural language prompt! No, not like that, you have to learn exactly how to prompt it just like a programming language except the same input won't always give the same output.

When my team first got access to our "AI developer" harness Devin, there were jokes about cutting "him" some slack because "he's new". I was vocally against any anthropomorphism even in joke form, which probably got me a rep as a killjoy but I think it's important to remember it's just software

The GPU heavy ones handle a different use case to the CPU heavy ones, and re-fitting them to a normal cloud data center would mean getting rid of all those expensive Nvidia cards. There are other uses for GPUs but nothing approaching the demand for training and using LLMs
