@graphieros.npmx.social the asymmetry of the stars on the right, nice graphic on the left...very nice. Symmetric & almost patterned is the safe choice for cover photos. Asymmetry when it's done well stands out. Also great very professional but still approachable/warm profile picture!

bsky.app as escape hatch. jklb.social is not and will never be feature-complete as a bluesky client/front end. Accepting and then embracing that has been helpful. There's a hotkey (v) to View a post on bluesky, and I use it at least a couple times a session when I want to see someone's profile...

Cover photos as background. This one is probably not for everyone and makes the app experience chaotic (you can toggle it off in settings (hotkey: s ). But I really really like it. I never see people's cover photos otherwise, and people have cool cover photos.

Favorite sneaky features of jklb.social so far: 1: ATmosphere report. Simply grabs all non-bluesky records for everyone in my Like Chorus, and then groups them by lexicon. A quick-and-dirty daily update for what lexicons the people in my circles are actively using.
