The kid dragged me to a Pokemon convention, which was not as awful as I feared. Nerd smell was minimal despite the crowd, people were generally polite, and they were very generous about giving out freebies to kids.

So here is a sloppy first draft. Instead of sterile orphan bonuses these are strongly related to the setting. Probably going to do a similar thing for METTLE Core but more related to the Resources rank, as pulp adventurers are more dependent on money than filthy commie mutants.

A heartwarming disney/pixar movie about those giant parasitic lice that cut off fish tongues and replace them. One of the scenes is a musial with the fish in a school opening their mouths in agony and the little lice hitting all the right notes and jazz-handing when they do.

Odd thought, it strikes me that during WWII (greatest/silent gens) there was a strong sentiment against "hoarding" resources that could be used to support the war effort. This seems to have been undone by the generations after, and maybe as a reaction or rebellion we enshrined hoarding behavior.

You can barely see it, but my sphagnum moss has started putting out little bits of green. Took a little over a month and this is the first pot showing signs of regrowth.

But it's fun adding to the models and doing the crash damage and post-apocalpytic gadgetry. Still at work on this one making it look dynamic & adding mutants. #ttrpg
