Few people know this: half of the world's energy use is for heat used in buildings and industry. And almost all of it is from burning fossil fuels. That's why we need to decarbonise heat if we want to stand a chance of meeting our climate targets.

I don’t get why more economists and CFOs are not more engaged in climate. The basic economics of supply and demand do not work. Earth cannot supply what the economy demands. The economy is a wholly owned subsidiary of Earth. Friedman’s doctrine of the primacy of shareholder profit denies reality.

I’ve been listening to wild examples of climate disinfo in Brazil during the G20. Like in the UK and the US, disinfo is designed for reach and attention. In the @caadcoalition.bsky.social report before COP we found that wildfires were being blamed on ‘Directed Energy Weapons’ and arson by the WEF 1/
