That there might be many single-issue obsessives, Islamists and Trotskyists joining. The Party wasn’t set up to vet new candidates, let alone members. At the local elections this Spring they had to withdraw or suspend numerous candidates because they were found to be antisemites. 3/4

They were very vocal about tyring again at the autumn conference. So the party had half a year to deal with it. Apart from the Jewish Greens few people did try. The Green Party was warned that the huge influx of new members since last year could create shift away from traditional green values. 2/4
