So, I really believe Slot didn't lose the dressing room. We were broken. Utterly broken. And we supporters expected these humans to behave like robots and play hard.

It was because it didn't matter anymore. The football didn't matter anymore. I can totally imagine the thought in my head if I was one of them. "Fuck it. His kids are crying. So what if we lose this game? So what??"

I still hold a grudge on all those idiots moaning and bitching all season blaming the lack of intensity on Slot. It was his coaching. It was his tactics. That's why we didn't have intensity or didn't press. That's why we had a glass jaw whenever a goal goes in. No.

I dunno. It felt like there was this blizzard of energy on the field when Koumas came in. Fella was running at full speed everywhere.

Slot was blamed in entirety when it was a whole hurricane of factors that consumed the team. I still don't believe he lost the dressing room. Salah's fall out and fall from form was also another huge factor.

Thinking of how good our business has been to get the two best Center Backs of their age. Jacquet and Leoni. I shudder remembering we had the likes of Dejan Lovren.

In his biggest game so far, Andoni put Trey into the pressure spot. And shifted Dom and then Grav to keep him there. A hint at what comes next.

Really pleased to see that Trey was first change in midfield. He's ahead of Ryan in the pecking order on merit. He'll be starting league games soon. #lfc

I think the Salah falling out with Slot plus his deteriorating form had an effect on many of the senior players like Gakpo. The politics got to them.

He made 3 blocks and didn't allow them to control the middle. Job done.

As disappointing as the Fulham game was, that’s three league clean sheets on the spin. Longer than the longest run last season. Equals the best of the title season and Klopp’s last dance. That’s something to build on. Up the Reds.

There's a confidence growing in our defense. Jeremy is so superb. And Trey came in solidly.

I can feel the fume over Wirtz growing here. Poor fella just can't get it right today.

Nervous here. Away game with a team that's solid and knows Andoni's tricks up his sleeve. I don't expect much, to be honest.

My sincere condolences. May he rest in peace.

I'll just have to remind myself that seasons like this will be of the ebbs and flows. Ups and downs. I am a doubter more than a believer now but will get to becoming a believer soon enough.

You can't bake a cake in 5 minutes by increasing the heat or adding double the ingredients into a smaller container. You'll only burn the damn thing.

Trusting a set of core players and rotating others according to the opposition is never really a science. It takes time and experience, and learning over time.

About the gruelling schedule managing a small tired squad. We never had 2 full teams roaring to go. Iraola has the same exact challenge, as did Slot.

100

jagdesh.bsky.social @jagdesh.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

But from the days of Rafa and Jurgen, finding that right team after a tough European game has been a challenge. Physical fatigue is one thing but mental fatigue can affect the fittest of players. There was a reason why both Rafa and Jurgen always had been vocal about this.

Context is always important. Many of us were optimistic for this game because of the excellent game we just had 4 days ago. Fulham are also a team finding their rhythm under a new manager

100

jagdesh.bsky.social @jagdesh.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

There's context to it. I'm optimistic about the season because I'm always optimistic about the season. I was somewhat optimistic about the game last night because of the Madrid game midweek. I'm pessimistic about us winning anything because Iraola has the same issues Slot has.

jagdesh.bsky.social @jagdesh.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

So many basic mistakes. Poor passes. Losing the ball. Yeah, we got that intensity back a little but we can't score to save our lives.

Tsimiskas is woeful. I take it back. Kerkez isn't so bad now.

I'm nervous as fuck. Iraola's first game on the European platform as a manager. One way, he would be totally out of depth. Another way of looking at it, he'll be like a breadth of fresh air and stamp his mark. But you fuckers replaying previous wins against Athelico ain't helping. Don't jinx it!

jagdesh.bsky.social @jagdesh.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

I am not surprised. But then again, I am shocked that they admitted it was wrong. Why is it always us getting these crucial decisions that mean points lost all wrong. Bastards.

Watching the replay. 2nd half. Kerkez has the enthusiasm and energy of the Duracell bunny. But my word, his intelligence and decision making is utter shite.

020

jagdesh.bsky.social @jagdesh.bsky.social · 04/09/2026

And that as well. But we will never know if Slot could've turned it around not given a chance. Moot discussion anyway. I just fear that this toxic behavior will also drive Iraola out if the results are almost the same.

jagdesh.bsky.social @jagdesh.bsky.social · 04/09/2026

They sacked Slot because it was too toxic from the supporters. We've become as bad as the Arsenal TV fuckers.

Seems like no more first-team incomings for #LFC. If that's the case, here's the squad until the January window, at least. It is a fairly young squad, with only one regular outfield player over 30 (van Dijk). Lacking a bit of quality depth, but a very good first 16. Exciting forward line. On we go!

My timeline has been pessimistic about the rebuild. But I view it as a phased rebuild with this time around we’re getting in new attackers who are fast and rapid as fuck. We’ll outscore teams while conceding goals. Firmino = Wirtz Salah = Munoz Mane = Barcola
