15 years ago, I got occasional rotoscope jobs - not my main thing but overflow work from friends. That went away to India. Now I wonder if all the underpaid artists who did that tedious work are still employed.

My nephew went to trade school to be an underwater welder, and after his first day at work, decided the life expectancy wasn't worth the *relatively* higher pay. He went back to school for business, despite a math deficiency and a loathing of school.

One of the things to come from GamerGate was the gamification of torturing real, live women...hounding them out of their homes, making them look over their shoulders for years. It was treated as a joke, nbd, the work of a few bad apples--as all terrorism against women is--& that failure leads here.
